I wish I could say that we had a really cute, unique backstory. Like, maybe, Blake jumped in front of a bus to save me from being hit on a busy street, or he ran into a burning orphanage and saved a bunch of kids, and I fell in love with him immediately. But... that's not how it happened. Like many of our generation, we met on an app called Bumble. In a miraculous set of chances, we both swiped right. My first impression was simply, "Oh he is cute. And he's a programmer, so I guess that means he's smart. Let's see what happens!" According to him, his first impression was, "Oh she's cute, and she's a really big Star Wars fan. I'm going to sit on this one for a couple of days," followed by a panic attack two days later when he finally decided to swipe right and we matched. :)
